Founded in 1872, S.T. Dupont is renowned for its precision craftsmanship and refined accessories, particularly lighters, writing instruments, and gentleman’s accessories. During the late 20th century, Dupont expanded its portfolio with elegant cufflinks and tie accessories, often incorporating guilloché-style engraving and lacquer-inspired finishes reminiscent of their iconic lighter designs.

The set is in very good vintage condition. The metal surfaces remain bright with only light surface wear and minor hairlines visible under close inspection. The guilloché pattern is crisp and well-preserved, and the gold-tone accents retain good contrast. The cufflink mechanisms and tie clip function correctly. There is a slight pinkish discoloration visible on the reverse side of the cufflinks; however, this is subtle and not noticeable when worn. The presentation box is in good condition with visible wear to the outer cardboard, while the inner box remains clean with slight impressions to the lining.
