The stainless-steel Luminor case has been refinished with precise polishing and brushing to restore a clean and balanced appearance while preserving the original 44 mm case geometry. The dial has been gently cleaned to maintain its authentic character. The watch is powered by a fully serviced Panerai OP XXIX calibre (ETA/Unitas-based), which has been disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated to ensure reliable and stable performance. ---CFP Custom Case Back – “Hamburg Edition”--- As part of this restoration, the watch is fitted with a signature CFP Watch Studio custom case back, newly manufactured from solid stainless steel and designed specifically for the Panerai Luminor 44 mm case system. With this project, we present our Hamburg Edition, created as an independent continuation of Panerai’s historic Boutique Edition concept. As a watch studio, we see our role in expanding the geographical spectrum of Boutique Editions, introducing iconic cities that were never officially released by Panerai as original boutique models. The Hamburg Edition was developed strictly following the design language of the German boutique watches and was directly inspired by the PAM00434 Munich Boutique Edition. The engraving features Hamburg’s historic architecture, carefully rendered to reflect the city’s maritime heritage, strength and cultural identity. All engravings are executed using high-precision laser engraving technology, ensuring sharp detail, consistency and long-term durability. The watch is completed with a custom leather strap, handcrafted buckle and a presentation box, selected to complement the restoration and overall concept.
