The Fero brand name and company dates back to before World War I. Apparently, around this time, Roger Ferner founded Féro & Cie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The brand name derives from the name of the founder. It takes the first two initials of his two names (FErner ROger). Between the founding of the company and the early 1950s, there is a gap in both the recorded history and surviving watches branded Fero.
Featuring a distinctive “star dial” with gold-tone hands and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. A classic mid-century Swiss design with strong vintage character.
