We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.
The Super Takumar 55mm f/1.8 is one of the most beloved vintage standard lenses ever made. Produced by Asahi Optical (Pentax) for M42 screw mount cameras, it is renowned for its warm color rendering, smooth bokeh, and the distinctive "radioactive" thorium glass element found in some versions — which contributes to a unique golden tone in images. Compact, lightweight, and sharp, it remains a favorite among vintage lens enthusiasts and mirrorless camera users worldwide.
Compatible with all M42 screw mount cameras, and easily adapted to virtually any modern mirrorless camera (Sony E, Fuji X, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Micro Four Thirds, etc.) via inexpensive adapters.
Although there is some dust present, it is in good condition and does not affect shooting.
