Dial and Hands

The dial exhibits signs of historical wear, including edge degradation near the eleven o'clock marker and a visible surface scratch traversing the printed "automatic" script in the lower half. The baton hands feature dark central inserts, showing age-consistent oxidation that complements the overall vintage character of the face.

Case and Crystal
The 35mm stainless steel case presents a classic mid-century profile with elegantly down-turned lugs and a smooth polished bezel. The case flanks and lugs exhibit honest signs of regular use, with superficial scratches and handling marks consistent with its age, while retaining good overall structural integrity. The original signed Longines crown is present and well-preserved. The watch is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal that remains clear, offering an unobstructed view of the patinated dial beneath. The snap-on caseback is appropriately engraved with "USE LONGINES CHUCK 32" and "WATERPROOF," showing typical surface wear.

Movement
Inside beats the Longines Caliber 345, a beautifully finished automatic movement featuring a substantial centrally mounted rotor adorned with the Longines winged hourglass logo and crisp factory brushing. The movement displays perlage on the base plate and retains its bright, clean aesthetic. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results indicate a deviation of +19 to +25 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is paired with a black textured leather strap featuring contrasting white stitching, complementing the monochrome aesthetic of the stainless steel case and silver dial. It is secured with a standard steel pin buckle.
