Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Elegant and functional, this distinctive Japanese cheese knife combines refined table aesthetics with authentic blade craftsmanship from Seki City, Gifu — a region renowned for over 700 years of knife-making history.
Designed under the concept of a knife that feels gentle and comfortable even when used directly at the dining table, the “pomme” cheese knife features graceful flowing curves and an antique-inspired appearance. Unlike ordinary kitchen knives, it brings warmth and sophistication to cheese and wine occasions while still offering excellent cutting performance.
Each piece is individually handcrafted in Japan. The blade is manually engraved, smoked, sharpened, and then finished with a beautiful pure gold-plated coating, giving every knife its own unique expression and character.
The serrated blade cleanly cuts soft to semi-hard cheeses and can also be used as a decorative knife thanks to its distinctive zigzag cutting edge. The pointed tip allows the sliced cheese to be picked up and served like a fork, making it both practical and elegant for entertaining.
Produced in collaboration with skilled craftsmen from Seki, Gifu and designer Aiko Yamamoto, this knife balances usability, artistry, and Japanese craftsmanship in a uniquely collectible form.
A beautiful addition for cheese lovers, wine enthusiasts, tableware collectors, or admirers of Japanese artisan blades.
