The Super-Takumar 105mm f/2.8 is a classic portrait telephoto lens produced by Asahi Optical (Pentax) for M42 screw mount cameras. With 5 elements in 5 groups and a fast f/2.8 aperture, it is renowned for its beautiful bokeh and flattering rendering — making it a highly regarded portrait lens of the manual focus era. The 105mm focal length provides natural compression and subject isolation ideal for headshots and half-body portraits.

Compatible with all M42 screw mount cameras, and easily adapted to virtually any modern mirrorless camera (Sony E, Fuji X, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Micro Four Thirds, etc.) via inexpensive adapters.

IMPORTANT — Please read carefully:
The front element has numerous fine scratches, giving it a slightly cloudy appearance. Combined with slight haze, this produces a soft focus effect in images. The mechanical condition is good — helicoid is smooth and aperture blades are clean.
