A refined set of two traditional Japanese Takohiki knives, representing the elegant and highly specialized blade style developed for Edo-style sashimi and fish preparation.

Unlike the more widely known Yanagiba, Takohiki knives feature a long, narrow, almost rectangular blade profile designed for smooth pull-cuts and exceptionally clean slicing. Traditionally associated with Tokyo-style cuisine, these knives embody the restrained functional beauty of classic Japanese culinary tools.

Both knives are signed examples with distinctive vintage character and practical craftsmanship.

1. “金鳩作 (Kinbato Saku)” Takohiki
