Dial and Hands
The silver sunburst dial is remarkably well-preserved, radiating a brilliant metallic sheen that shifts elegantly under different lighting conditions. It features tall, applied faceted hour markers with black central inserts, perfectly complementing the handset. At the 12 o'clock position sits the iconic Rado rotating anchor logo against a vibrant red background, while a framed date aperture at 3 o'clock displays the date in striking red typography. The printed "MANCHESTER SAPPHIRE" text remains crisp and fully intact. The matching baton hands are sharp and clean, exhibiting no signs of oxidation or damage. Overall, the dial is in outstanding condition, free from notable spots, moisture marks, or age-related degradation.

Case and Crystal
The 35mm stainless steel cushion case boasts a substantial presence on the wrist, characterized by its broad, sloping polished bezel and integrated lug design. The factory lines remain well-defined, and the high-polish surfaces exhibit only light, honest handling marks consistent with careful vintage wear. The original Rado-signed crown is present and crisp. Turning the watch over reveals a screw-down caseback centered by the signature gold-tone Rado "Water-Sealed" medallion, featuring the classic seahorse motif and stars in excellent condition. The watch is fitted with a stunning, thick faceted crystal that creates a mesmerizing optical effect across the dial, presenting with sharp, clean edges and no major scratches.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is a beautifully finished, gold-tone Rado signed automatic caliber. The movement features 25 jewels and displays clean, bright surfaces with a sweeping rotor. The mechanical components appear well-maintained and visually sound. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results indicate a deviation of -35 to -40 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a period-correct black textured leather strap with contrasting white edge stitching. The strap complements the retro aesthetic of the case and provides a comfortable fit, secured by a standard stainless steel tang buckle.

This Rado Manchester Sapphire is presented in excellent vintage condition. The case retains its bold architectural shape with minimal surface wear.
