History
Introduced in 1958, the Seiko Cronos was developed by the Daini Seikosha factory as a direct competitor to the Suwa factory's Marvel and Lord Marvel lines. The underlying architecture and design philosophy of the Cronos were so successful that they directly influenced the creation of the first King Seiko in 1961.
