Dial and Hands
The dial of this Lord Matic is a remarkable piece of vintage craftsmanship, featuring a deep blue hue accented by a distinctive vertical linen or brushed texture that catches the light beautifully. The typography is crisp and well-preserved, with the applied "SEIKO" and "LM" logos standing proud above the printed "AUTOMATIC" and "23 JEWELS" text. The Suwa factory symbol is neatly printed just above the 6 o'clock marker, flanked by the factory dial code "JAPAN 5606 - 7600T". The applied silver-tone indices are heavily faceted and feature central white inserts that perfectly match the clean, polished baton hands. A prominent metal-framed day-date aperture sits at 3 o'clock, displaying both English and Kanji character wheels. Upon close inspection, the dial is exceptionally clean, showing no visible spots, moisture marks, or print loss, presenting a highly vibrant and fresh appearance.

Case and Crystal
The stainless steel case features a classic 1970s cushion or tonneau profile, characterized by its sweeping polished flanks and integrated lug design. The case remains in excellent vintage condition, exhibiting honest, light handling marks and superficial surface scratches consistent with careful wear over the decades, while retaining its fundamental geometry without signs of heavy over-polishing. The recessed, knurled crown sits neatly against the case edge. The absolute highlight of the exterior is the striking, heavily faceted crystal. Cut with multiple angles across its surface, the crystal creates a mesmerizing optical effect, fracturing the light and adding incredible depth to the blue dial beneath it. The crystal is well-preserved and clear, allowing an unobstructed view of the vibrant dial.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is the Seiko Caliber 5606A, a 23-jewel automatic movement renowned for its reliability and direct lineage to Seiko's higher-tier models. The close-up images reveal a clean movement with the rotor clearly stamped with the Seiko branding, jewel count, and caliber designation. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results indicate a performance of -32 to -34 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a period-appropriate black textured strap featuring a distinctive interlocking pattern and prominent white contrast stitching. The strap complements the vintage aesthetic of the case and dial perfectly, securing comfortably to the wrist.

Condition
This Seiko Lord Matic survives in excellent vintage condition. The case shows only normal signs of careful use, while the highly faceted crystal remains a stunning focal point.
