About the artwork:
Late in 2025 I was commissioned to make a mural for PepsiCo, it was the most I have ever been paid for a painting. I invested the money to create this range of premium, museum quality prints that really do my artwork the justice I think it deserves. I searched the globe to select the best materials available, producing them in strictly limited editions of just 20 hand signed and numbered pieces per artwork. They truly are a collectors item worthy of your walls.
The substrate is a beautiful, smooth, 210GSM acid free paper sourced from Germany, this is an important factor that ensures that the artwork won't fade or corrode for decades to come. I've then used a SwissQ printer to produce these stunning editions, the same model used for reproductions by the likes of Tate, MoMA and The National Gallery. The print quality and colour matching is second to none.
In my original paintings I use a range of gloss and matte mediums to give depth to the pieces, this is something that I wanted to replicate in my print editions. I've achieved this by applying a spot gloss varnish to elements of these prints. It's hard to show this off to it's full potential in photographs alone, but you will notice that the black lines have a thick gloss texture that sits raised above the rest of the image, creating a fantastic shine that takes the prints to a new level. Some of the colours also have a metallic finish.
Measuring 500 x 500 mm, the editions are sold unframed, carefully flat packed between layers of double walled cardboard. All orders are sent by a tracked and insured courier service. They are individually hand signed and numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The edition number you are purchasing may differ from that pictured.

- - About The Artist - -
When I finish a painting, I along with my audience see it for the first time. I spend a lot of time doodling in my sketchbook to germinate the seeds of ideas, but when I approach a canvas, the composition, colour and imagery is unplanned and intuitive.
I understand that the world isn't perfect, but my paintings portray a utopian vision that I invite the viewer to take a moment and step inside. I pack my artworks with people, animals and imaginary creatures, all waiting to be discovered and interpreted. I hope that you can look at them over and over again and always notice something new.
I first started painting after getting interested in graffiti as a teenager over 20 years ago. I've got a thick callus on the part of my finger where my marker pen rests. I can't remember a time when I didn't have it.
I've always worked in this style. I started by painting just one character repeatedly and from there I developed the whole universe.
I work with a variety of mediums, primarily acrylic gouache and vinyl emulsion for the colour, paint pens for patterns and details and gloss ink for the bold outline.
I have collaborated with some of the biggest brands in the world including IKEA, PepsiCo and Nescafé. I've also had the honour of having my art displayed at London's Royal Academy of Arts on two separate occasions.
Aside from studio work, the other main area of my artistic practice is public art and I can regularly be found painting murals across the UK and further afield.
You can see many examples of my work on my website kevmunday.co.uk or on Instagram @kevmunday. I work with a few select galleries but choose to mostly self represent, so if you have any questions, feel free to get in contact with me directly.
