A Lot of 4 Bronze Fibulas Viking Age, Northern Europe, 9th-11th century A.D. A fine lot of four Viking Age Northern European bronze fibulas, comprising a large penannular fibula with rounded terminals set with central protrusions, a smaller penannular fibula with coiled terminals and pin, an incomplete ring fibula with pin, and a decorated brooch with ribbed hoop and opposed animal-head terminals. The fibulas are in excavated condition, with age-related surface wear, green patina, encrustation, and minor losses, yet retaining clear and recognisable forms. An appealing and authentic group of Viking Age bronze dress fittings, ideal for collectors of Norse antiquities, early medieval jewellery, or archaeological bronze artefacts. Size 2.3 – 11 cm.
