Dial and Hands
The dial of this Omega Genève is a visual delight, presenting a brilliant silver sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully from every angle. It features applied faceted steel hour markers with distinctive black inserts, providing excellent contrast and legibility. The matching steel stick hands also feature these black center stripes, creating a cohesive and striking aesthetic. An applied steel Omega logo sits proudly below the twelve o'clock position, while the printed typography, including the "T SWISS MADE T" designation at the bottom, remains crisp and fully intact. A stepped date window is positioned at three o'clock. Crucially, the dial is in exceptionally clean condition, completely devoid of noticeable spotting, moisture damage, or discoloration, representing a remarkably well-preserved vintage face.

Case and Crystal
The 35 mm stainless steel case features a classic profile with straight lugs and a smoothly polished bezel. The case exhibits honest signs of vintage wear, with light surface scratches and handling marks visible on the polished flanks and lugs, consistent with normal use over the decades. Despite these marks, the case retains its structural integrity and attractive geometry without appearing overly polished. The watch is fitted with a signed Omega crown featuring the brand's iconic horseshoe logo. The domed acrylic crystal protects the dial and features the subtle, highly desirable Omega logo faintly etched into its center, confirming its authenticity. The screw-down caseback is clearly engraved with the word "WATERPROOF" across its brushed surface, while the interior correctly displays the 166.070 reference number.

Movement
Powering this timepiece is the legendary Omega Caliber 565, a 24-jewel automatic movement renowned for its durability and precision. The movement displays Omega’s signature copper-toned plating, which remains vibrant and visually striking. Close inspection reveals the swan-neck regulator and the clearly stamped serial number 30395518 on the bridge, dating the watch to 1969. Recently serviced, the movement is running exceptionally well, exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher result indicates an outstanding +1 to +5 seconds per day with strong amplitude, confirming the excellent mechanical health of this classic Omega caliber.

Strap
The watch is paired with a striking textured leather strap in a rich reddish-brown hue. The strap features a deeply embossed pattern with black edging and contrasting brown stitching, complementing the vintage character of the stainless steel case and the crisp silver dial.

Condition
This Omega Genève is presented in excellent vintage condition. The absolute highlight is the pristine silver sunburst dial, which has survived the decades with remarkable clarity and virtually no signs of degradation. The stainless steel case shows expected, honest surface wear and light scratches but maintains a strong, authentic vintage presence. The mechanical condition is equally impressive, with the recently serviced Caliber 565 movement running exceptionally well.

Dimensions
