Elegante cornice da pittura di gusto neoclassico, fine XIX – inizi XX secolo
Raffinata cornice antica in legno dorato e patinato, caratterizzata da un’elegante struttura architettonica a più livelli. Il profilo esterno presenta una sobria modanatura dorata, impreziosita internamente da un passe-partout rivestito in tessuto blue notte e da una sottile bordura ornamentale dorata con motivo fogliato finemente scolpito.
L’insieme crea un effetto di notevole profondità visiva, ideale per valorizzare dipinti, incisioni, stampe o fotografie d’epoca. La combinazione tra la doratura calda e il tessuto blu conferisce alla cornice una presenza raffinata e signorile, tipica dell’arredo europeo tra la fine dell’Ottocento e i primi decenni del Novecento.
