Τρία μπουκάλια των 0,75 l από Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2020 από την Ιταλία.
Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Intense and brilliant ruby red, the nose reveals floral notes followed by warm, mineral aromas of red and black berries. This is followed by tertiary and spicy notes, such as licorice, nutmeg, green tea leaves, and coffee beans. The tannins are elegant and dense. The finish is long and persistent.
Pairings
A perfect accompaniment to any meal, it pairs well with braised meats, fillets, and aged cheeses.
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Castelgiocondo" 2020 - Frescobaldi: Why We Love It
The village of Castelgiocondo dominates the historic Frescobaldi estate in Montalcino, an ancient fortress built in 1100 to defend the road from the sea to Siena. A historic site, it is one of the first four estates where Brunello di Montalcino production began in 1800. The estate is located in an ideal terroir for Sangiovese and the great wines it produces: the vineyards are planted at altitudes between 300 and 400 meters, with well-drained soils and a sunny, favorable southwest exposure. Obsessive care in the vineyard, high density, and low yields allow for the production of a great Brunello, with an elegant structure and admirable longevity. Castelgiocondo is a Brunello di Montalcino born from a rigorous selection of only Sangiovese grapes in the vineyard, where all the characteristics necessary to enhance this ancient grape variety are scrupulously respected.
