The King Seiko line, produced by Seiko’s Daini factory, represented the brand’s pursuit of high precision and fine finishing during the mechanical golden age. The Calibre 5626 was one of Seiko’s most advanced automatic movements, featuring a hi-beat rate of 28,800 bph, hand-winding, hacking, and quickset day/date.
This 5626-7113 model from January 1974 showcases the refined late-era King Seiko design with its sharp stainless-steel case, sunburst dial, and signed KS crown - a perfect balance of elegance and technical excellence.

Condition:
The watch is in very attractive overall vintage condition. The stainless-steel case retains its sharp, angular profile and strong faceted lugs, with light scratches, small marks and signs of wear consistent with age. The polished surfaces remain well defined. The signed crown is present.
The silver sunburst dial is well preserved, with only minor age-related marks. The applied indices, hands, printed text and framed day-date display remain clean and visually appealing. The caseback engravings, including the original Japanese presentation inscription, remain clear and legible.
The crystal is new, clean and scratch-free, and the watch is fitted with a new black leather strap. The movement has been serviced, and all functions operate correctly. A 3-month functionality guarantee is included.
