This Waltham pocket watch was produced in approximately 1922 and is powered by the company’s Grade No. 210 movement, based on the long-running Model 1894 architecture. Introduced during the era when Waltham was one of the leading American manufacturers of machine-produced watches, the Model 1894 became an exceptionally widely used 12-size movement family and remained in production across several decades. This example features the seven-jewel, pendant-set version in an open-face configuration, paired with an independently manufactured Illinois Watch Case Co. Tivoli case, reflecting the common American practice of combining movements and cases supplied separately.

The watch is in good overall vintage condition. The elaborately decorated gold-filled case retains clear ornamental detailing, with scratches, wear and minor discolouration consistent with age. The dial shows visible patina, spotting, scratches and wear, including marks around the subsidiary-seconds register. The numerals and minute track remain legible, and the blued hands retain an attractive colour.
