The vibrant and cheerful "Amapola" decor was designed by Christine Reuter for Villeroy & Boch in the late 1970s.
She is the same talented in-house designer behind some of Villeroy & Boch's most iconic and legendary mid-century pop-art patterns, most notably the ultra-famous "Acapulco" collection. Her signature style beautifully captures a bold, joyful floral aesthetic that looks exceptionally artistic on high-quality porcelain.
