King Seiko Vanac is a high grade watch, made by both the Suwa and the Daini branch of Seiko.
There is no official explanation as to why they are called Vanac.

This line of watches was manufactured between 1972 and 1974 in a number of variations, but all had colorful dials, facetted crystals and angular cases.
