Two white Vitra Panton Classic chairs. Designed by Verner Panton in 1959 and sold by Vitra since 1967. It became a classic and a practical everyday object. The manufacturing process of this design has continually evolved to achieve the goal of a lightweight load-bearing surface with no reinforcements. Unlike the matte polypropylene version, which is very widespread, popular and cheaper, this is the high-end variant in rigid polyurethane foam with a satin finish. Vitra recently introduced it to faithfully preserve Panton's original design. This version currently sells for more than €1600 per piece depending on the country. They are collectible pieces in very good condition with minor signs of use. Both chairs have small paint scratches on the edges of the base that contact the floor. One of them also shows a small hidden paint crack in the lower front hollow, as seen in the images and on one of the ends that touch the floor. These small defects are almost imperceptible during normal use due to how they are located.
