The artwork is inspired by the ancient East Asian legend of the Red Thread of Fate, which tells that people destined to meet are connected by an invisible red thread that neither time, distance, nor life's obstacles can ever break. Here, the thread represents far more than a bond between two individuals: it embodies memory, life choices, emotional scars, and the encounters that shape our existence. The contrast between the softness of the skin, rendered with acrylic and colored pencils, and the physical texture of the embroidered thread creates a dialogue between reality and symbolism.
