A large black stone figure of an auspicious court attendant, or tóngzǐ 童子 (page boy), holding a hanging coin amulet 钱挂 (qiánguà). The youthful attendant stands upright upon an accolade-shaped base with his hands folded before him, supporting a large circular coin amulet suspended with tassels. His long robe is decorated with repeated cash coin motifs, reinforcing the symbolism of prosperity, wealth, and good fortune. Dimensions: Height 103 cm, Width 29 cm, Depth 19 cm. Considering its age, the figure is in good condition, with wear consistent with age, including some losses and weathering, primarily to the reverse.
