The Konica C35 is a compact 35mm coupled-rangefinder camera introduced by Konishiroku in 1968. It uses a fixed four-element Hexanon 38mm f/2.8 lens and a CdS light meter driving a programmed automatic exposure system, so the user only frames and focuses while the camera selects shutter speed and aperture. Its small size, sharp lens and simple operation made it a very popular travel and everyday camera, and it spawned a large family of variants. It remains a common and well-regarded entry point into 1960s-70s Japanese rangefinders.
