Community with the ancestral deaths is an important focus of attention for the Fang people in the south of Cameroon and the north of Gabon. This big beautiful head still has the reliquary with his neck in which were selected remains, usually skull fragments of an honored ancestor.

This wooden reliquary was kept in a dark corner of a male bedroom.

Condition good, some usual spots due age, one side has a tribal repair.
