Georg Jensen - Henning Koppel - Weather Station Set (4) Black/Black

Description:

A complete and iconic 4-piece weather station set designed by the legendary Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen, Denmark. This set represents the pinnacle of Scandinavian minimalism, where functionalism meets organic, timeless design.
Originally designed in 1978/1980, these pieces have become true design classics. Each instrument is encased in a sleek stainless steel frame with a clean, easy-to-read dial, making them as much a piece of wall art as they are precision instruments.

The set includes all four essential parts:

Clock: Featuring Koppel's signature black dots instead of numbers for a contemporary look.
Barometer: Measures atmospheric pressure to help predict weather changes.
Thermometer: Provides accurate temperature readings in Celsius.
Hygrometer: Measures the humidity in the atmosphere with precision.

Specifications:
Designer: Henning Koppel
Manufacturer: Georg Jensen
Material: Stainless steel and ABS plastic
Diameter: Approx. 10 cm (3.9 inches) per piece
Condition: Good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear, consistent with age
Mounting: Designed for wall hanging.

About the Designer:
Henning Koppel (1918–1981) was a pioneer of Danish modernism. His collaboration with Georg Jensen began in 1946, and he is credited with defining the "New Look" of post-war Scandinavian design—shifting away from ornamentation toward pure, sculptural forms.

All 4 needs a little cleaning.
