Dangerous is the eighth studio album by legendary American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 26, 1991, by Epic Records. The project marked a major transition in the King of Pop's career, being his first album since Off the Wall (1979) without long-time collaborator Quincy Jones. Instead, Jackson worked alongside producers like Teddy Riley and Bill Bottrell to modernize his sound.

Innovative Sound: It introduced the new jack swing genre to pop music on a massive scale.

Major Hits: It spawned iconic singles such as "Black or White", "Remember the Time", "In the Closet", "Jam", and "Heal the World".

The Title Track:

- "Dangerous" is also the song that closes the album. It is an electronic and R&B track focused on a predatory, seductive lover. Although it was planned to be released as the tenth single from the record, its commercial release was canceled due to the singer's health issues and personal controversies in 1993. Even so, it became a fan favorite due to its complex, sharp live choreography.

The Picture Disc Edition:

- The album features one of the most coveted vinyl editions for collectors: the Dangerous Picture Disc. This special version stands out because the music is pressed directly onto images printed on the vinyl disc itself, rather than the traditional black vinyl.

- Official Release: Officially released on August 24, 2018.

- Format: A double LP (2LP) pressed on 180-gram vinyl.

- Design: It features Mark Ryden's complex and iconic original artwork spread across all four sides of the discs.

The 2018 Sony/Legacy release is the first official edition with this presentation.
