Εμαγιέ διαφημιστική πινακίδα «Sannami» παλαιά εποχή Showa - Διαφημιστική πινακίδα - Σμάλτο

Vintage Japanese “Sannami” Household Goods Store Enamel Sign – Nara, Showa Era A wonderfully nostalgic Japanese enamel advertising sign from Gose City, Nara Prefecture, preserving the name of a local shop and the atmosphere of everyday commercial life in Showa-era Japan. Unlike enamel signs advertising nationally distributed medicines, beverages or agricultural products, this example appears to have been made specifically for a local household-goods shop called Sannami in the Shinchi shopping district of Gose City, Nara. This local connection gives the sign a particularly evocative character. The phrase “A Shop for the Tools of Everyday Life” beautifully reflects an earlier period of Japanese life. Before large supermarkets, home centers and online shopping became commonplace, neighborhood stores supplied families with the ordinary objects needed for daily living. Cookware, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies and other household necessities were purchased from small merchants within the local shopping street. Such stores were more than simply places to buy goods. They formed part of the social fabric of the neighborhood, where shopkeepers and customers often knew one another and everyday shopping was closely connected with community life. Today, this is more than an advertisement for a forgotten household-goods shop. It is a surviving fragment of local Japanese history—a physical reminder of the neighborhood shopping streets and independent merchants that once played an essential role in everyday life throughout Showa-era Japan. [Size] 22,2x45cm [Condition] Good vintage condition. Although it shows signs of use, the letters and designs remain clearly visible. Please check the photos. Any taxes related to international shipping must be borne by the purchaser. Occasionally, customs or the delivery company in your country may contact you for customs clearance via phone or email. Kindly ensure you are available to respond. Failure to do so may result in the parcel being returned to me, incurring additional shipping fees for reshipment. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. I will pack the item securely, but there may be cases where the item is repackaged at customs or damaged upon arrival due to a mistake by the shipping company. If this happens, please contact me immediately. Please promptly send me a photo of the item when it arrives and a photo of the damage to the item. We will provide refunds depending on the situation.
