The Minolta SR-1 (1959) is an early member of Minolta's SR line, the series that established the company as a serious maker of 35mm single-lens reflex cameras. Fully mechanical, it needs no battery to operate. Its Minolta SR bayonet carries the celebrated Rokkor lenses and adapts easily to modern mirrorless cameras. Offered here with the MD 50mm f/1.7. Mount & Compatibility This lens uses the Minolta SR mount (MC/MD series) and is a manual-focus lens for Minolta manual-focus film SLRs (SR-T, X-700, XD, etc.). Note: The Minolta SR (MC/MD) mount is NOT the same as the later Minolta/Sony A autofocus mount and will not fit those bodies. On mirrorless it can be used with an MD-to-mirrorless adapter.
