A beautiful multicolour archaic glass necklace beads talisman from the ancient Burmese, Samon Valley culture.
800 BC - 200 AD
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand forming, cutting, carving, grinding and boring. Traces of use and age on its surface. Each bead is different in form and size!
Purchased 1995 in Mandalay/Burma by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
