Elegant Jean Pouyat Limoges porcelain dinner service, France, early 20th century. Beautifully decorated with delicate pink floral garlands and gilt accents.
The service consists of:
12 plates, 24.5 cm
10 soup plates, 24.2 cm
12 plates, 22 cm
1 large rectangular serving dish, 41.5 x 23.5 cm
4 small rectangular dishes, 23.3 cm x 12.9 cm
1 serving bowl, 25 cm x 27.5 cm x 9 cm H
1 footed dish, 23.7 cm x 14 cm H
1 lidded tureen, 18.5 cm x 24.5 cm (33 cm from handle to handle) x 11 cm H (18 cm H with lid)
1 lidded gravy boat, 14 cm x 11 cm x 8 cm H (12.5 cm with lid)
1 lidded vegetable tureen, 18.5 cm x 15.5 cm x 7.5 cm h (13 cm h with lid)
1 large round serving dish, 32 cm
1 round serving dish, 28 cm
The service is in very good antique condition. The large rectangular serving dish with 2 micro chips visible on the back, the serving bowl with a rim chip, a round serving dish with a crazing line and the other round large serving dish with a chip visible on the back of it. Otherwise looks gorgeous for its age.
