FULL DESCRIPTION This authentic vintage Beni Ouarain rug was entirely handmade by Berber women weavers in Morocco’s Middle Atlas. Its long and narrow 65 × 160 cm format makes it an ideal Moroccan runner for a hallway, entrance, bedside area, dressing room or narrow interior space. The composition features a warm natural ivory background decorated with traditional brown diamond motifs. A vibrant turquoise-blue geometric line runs through the centre, creating a striking contrast and giving this vintage rug a distinctive contemporary character. Entirely hand-knotted from natural sheep’s wool, the rug has a thick, soft and beautifully textured pile. The small irregularities in the weave and design are characteristic of genuine Berber craftsmanship and make this piece completely unique.
