Issued for Niue with a denomination of 2 Dollars, the coin is crafted from 1 troy ounce (31.1 g) of .999 fine silver. It measures 40 mm in diameter and has a strictly limited worldwide mintage of only 1,000 pieces. Designed by Lucrezia Delfini in an elegant Art Nouveau style, the reverse personifies summer as a graceful female figure standing upon a seashell. The composition evokes the classical beauty of Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, while surrounding jellyfish and marine elements create a dreamlike underwater atmosphere. Detailed digital colour printing brings the marine environment to life, contrasting beautifully with the silver surfaces and highlighting the delicate lines of the artwork. The inscription “SUMMER” identifies the seasonal theme. The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue surrounded by an elaborate decorative composition incorporating natural elements associated with the four seasons. The inscriptions include the 2 Dollars denomination, 2024 year of issue and Ag 999 silver purity. With its artistic Art Nouveau design, 1 oz of fine silver, vivid colour treatment and limited production of only 1,000 pieces worldwide, Summer is an attractive opening release in the Four Seasons collection. The coin is supplied in a protective capsule and presentation box together with a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). Please Note: The photographs shown in this listing are marketing and presentation images. The buyer will receive the same official edition with the specifications described above.
