Black Jack Malt 6 Years Old & 12 Years Old – Pure Highland Malt Whisky – Vintage Bottlings
Description
Offered here is a pair of vintage Black Jack Malt Pure Highland Malt Whisky bottles, comprising one 6 Years Old and one 12 Years Old expression.
Both bottles are presented in their original illustrated cardboard presentation boxes and retain their original vintage labels and closures. The two bottles feature the characteristic Black Jack Malt design, with the traditional Highland landscape illustration and the distinctive gold-coloured capsule.
The 6 Years Old and 12 Years Old bottles are both labelled “Pure Highland Malt Whisky” and state that they were produced and bottled in Scotland. The rear labels identify:
Angus Mac Donald – Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland
as the producer/bottler.
The rear labels also state:
“Distilled and bottled in Scotland under British Government supervision.”
Both bottles were specifically prepared for the Italian market, as demonstrated by the original Italian tax stamps on the closures. The labels identify G. Fabbri S.p.A., Bologna as the sole importer and distributor for Italy.
The bottles are marked 750 ml (75 cl) and 40% vol.
The two expressions provide an interesting comparison within the same vintage Black Jack Malt range: the 6 Years Old has a noticeably lighter golden colour, while the 12 Years Old displays a considerably deeper amber/golden colour.
The bottles have an attractive and highly characteristic vintage presentation, with period typography, traditional artwork and original Italian-market taxation.
