Beautiful set of two original Vitra Amoebe chairs, designed by Verner Panton in 1970. Later Vitra production.
Executed in red fabric with a form of polyurethane foam. Dimensions per chair approx. 81 cm high × 60 cm wide × 87 cm deep.
Both chairs are still usable and present well. They are in used vintage condition with signs of wear. One chair has local discolorations/stains in the upholstery, but feels structurally solid. The other chair has a nicer upholstery, but the backrest is more flexible and bends further under load than the other specimen. This does not prevent normal use.
