Bizen ware is one of Japan's six ancient kilns; this sake set was handcrafted by a renowned artisan. The sake pot (Tokuri) is decorated with hand-thrown spiral patterns, exhibiting rich and distinct kiln firing marks, with a natural blend of gray-green and reddish-brown. Its surface displays the rugged, crackled texture characteristic of wood-fired sake, exuding a rustic yet vibrant feel. All pieces are made from coarse clay and display unique firing marks and natural ash deposits. The artisan's signature is engraved on the bottom of each vessel. The entire set is well-preserved and stored intact in its original paulownia wood box, making it an ideal choice for sake appreciation or displaying in a tea room. The sake pot is approximately 12.5cm high, 9cm in diameter at the belly, and 3.5cm in diameter at the mouth, with a capacity of approximately 350ml. The sake cup is approximately 3.5cm high and 5cm in diameter at the mouth.
