Elegant Japanese Imari porcelain vase, dating approximately to the late Meiji period (circa 1880–1912), featuring a graceful trumpet-shaped silhouette, slender waist, flared neck and spreading base.

Origin & Period: Japan, late 19th to early 20th century, probably Meiji period (1868–1912). Dating is stylistic and not confirmed by a maker's mark.

Decoration: Beautiful floral compositions in deep cobalt blue, iron red, white and touches of green, enhanced by delicate gilt accents. Decorative panels depict bamboo, stylised flowers and intricate foliage.

Craftsmanship: Glazed porcelain with traditional Imari-style polychrome decoration. The scalloped rim and elegant proportions enhance its decorative appeal.

Dimensions:

- Height: 23 cm (9.06 inches)
- Base diameter: 8.91 cm (3.51 inches)

Condition: Good overall condition, with two small chips on the upper rim, clearly visible in the photographs. Minor signs of age and wear.

Collectibility: An attractive example of Japanese Imari-style porcelain, ideal for collectors of Asian ceramics and traditional Japanese decorative arts. Its vibrant colours and refined silhouette make it a beautiful display piece.
