Περιγραφή από τον πωλητή
Decorative German mantel clock by Junghans, dating from the early 20th century, approximately 1900–1915.
A particularly attractive example with an elaborate architectural wooden case in the historicist / Gründerzeit style. The case is richly decorated with turned columns, carved and incised details, ornamental finials and brass-coloured rosette mounts.
The light-coloured dial has black Arabic numerals, decorative detailing and a gilt centre, surrounded by a decorative metal bezel. The overall appearance of the clock is very elegant and highly decorative.
The original mechanical movement is signed Junghans.
Condition:
The wooden case is in attractive antique condition with normal traces of age and use, preserving a beautiful warm patina. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.
Antique mechanical mantel clock with an alarm function, dating from around 1900, probably late 19th or early 20th century.
The wooden case is decorated with a carved reclining classical figure, turned columns and ornamental metal details. The dial features Roman numerals and a separate small dial for setting the alarm.
The mechanical movement is fully operational, including the alarm function.
**Dimensions:** 25 × 17 × 10 cm (height × width × depth).
**Condition:** Very good for its age, with minor signs of wear consistent with its age. The wooden case and decorative elements are well preserved.
The clock will be carefully packed for shipping.
As with all antique mechanical clocks, minor adjustment may be necessary after transport. No guarantee is provided for antique items.
