FUJIFILM Fujica 35-SE, tested and working. Hello from Japan! We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world. The Fujica 35-SE, released in 1959, is a well-built 35mm rangefinder camera with a sharp Fujinon 4.5cm lens and a built-in selenium light meter. Notable for its unusual rear-mounted focusing and winding controls, it is a distinctive and characterful classic of late-1950s Japanese camera design. Important — please read carefully: The light meter is inaccurate and the self-timer does not work. Please consider this before bidding. Condition: Used — Good Pre-owned, heavy signs of use, or minor optical flaws Serial Number Please check the photo. Appearance Scuffs and scratches from normal use. Please check the photos for details. Optical Condition Lens: Clear, no issues Viewfinder: Clean (cleaned inside) Functional The shutter fires at all speeds; speeds measured within the normal range. Light seals replaced. Measured Performance We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured: - 1 s — measured 1/1.6 s (approx. 0.7 stop fast) - 1/60 — measured 1/68 s (approx. 0.2 stop fast) - 1/1000 — measured 1/850 s (approx. 0.2 stop slow) Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself. Servicing This camera was serviced by us before listing: - Viewfinder cleaned internally - Light seals (foam) replaced Known Issues 1. The selenium light meter moves but is not accurate. 2. The self-timer does not work. Bundled Items Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.
