Elegant and sculptural Italian vintage chandelier, attributed to the renowned Venetian glass manufacturer Salviati, dating to the 1950s. This distinctive lighting piece features a polished chrome-plated metal structure with geometric, perforated circular discs, complemented by substantial clear Murano glass elements, approximately 3 cm thick. The individually textured glass pieces have an irregular, ice-like appearance, creating a striking interplay of transparency, reflections and light. When illuminated, the chandelier produces beautiful sparkling effects through the thick glass and reflective metal surfaces. A remarkable example of Italian Mid-Century Modern lighting design, ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of Murano glass, vintage lighting and 20th-century Italian design.
