One bottel new state of the Macallan Sierra
More pronounced fruity acidity, from which green apples and not quite ripe gooseberries stand out, combined with a hint of dry sherry. In addition, sharper spices like pepper, a hint of nutmeg and vanilla. In the background, there is a certain woodiness with a windiness.
Fuller, denser, in many ways quite based on the aroma. Here again we have those fruity-sour notes, this time complemented by some raisin-sweeter notes (I only started to notice this after drinking about ¼ of the bottle). There is also a sharper spiciness, the aforementioned woodiness and windiness.
Longer, gradually fading. Clear remnants of fresh oak wood, grass, later traces of honey or dried fruit appear on the tongue
