Bronze First World War Memorial Plaque, 117 mm, 323 g, named 'Martin Halleron'. The reverse carries the circled 'WA' mark of the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich.
CWGC records Serjeant Martin Halleron, 10176, 2nd Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, died 25 April 1915 during the Second Battle of Ypres. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate (Panel 44). He came from Crookstown, Athy, Co. Kildare.
Condition: good, even brown patina to both sides. The reverse has scattered small marks and light scratches, and there is a small knock to the rim. Plaque only, no envelope, scroll or medals. Please study the photos, which form part of the description.
