Daum frères A wonderful French 1925 art deco lamp in wrought iron. The forged base of excellent quality holds a rare model shade made by Daum frères. It is signed Daum Nancy France scratched in the hot glass past during production. But the signature is very vague and thin. Completely invisible to the naked eye. But once covered with transparent tape it shows up. The lamp is 37 cm high. The base is 15,5 cm in diameter. And the shade has a height of 14 cm. The lamp is in very good condition. The iron has a nice deep-brown patina. There is a small chip near the hole where the shade is attached to the socket. See last picture. The lamp is rewired with new cloth covered twisted cord and a E14 socket. On catawiki my listings have low reserve prices. I offer no aftersales when the reserve is not met.
