A beautiful colour and rare jasper ritual bead talisman cosmic sphere with Buddha's Eyes from the ancient Himalayan, Tibetan-Nepalese culture.
Second Millennium AD .
In good condition. It has been cleaned and repolished , but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Kathmandu by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
