A natural banded agate bead talisman deer cabochon intaglio from the Indus Valley culture, first millennium AD.
In good condition. Hairline it the white part of the agate. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient hand cutting, carving, etching and grinding.
Purchased mid 90's in Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in Asia , H.E.T.I.
