A pair of sakura-design yunomi (tea cups) by Fujimoto Roka (藤本路加), crafted at the Shōjiji Kiln (勝寺窯) in Okayama, Japan. Each cup features a delicate hand-carved and glazed cherry blossom motif in translucent green set against soft gradients of celadon blue and white. The subtly faceted form and uneven rim lend a natural rhythm reminiscent of petals in spring breeze. Fujimoto, known for incorporating the poetic beauty of cherry blossoms into her contemporary ceramics, continues the refined Shōjiji kiln tradition with a modern sensibility. Presented in the original signed wooden box with accompanying artist documentation.
