This rare and mysterious Viking-era bronze amulet features a horizontal hanger with three articulated pendants, each shaped like a stylized duck foot. Such objects are commonly interpreted as sorcerer's amulets, worn by ritual practitioners or seers during ceremonial activity.
The tripartite form is believed to hold symbolic power, and the use of bird feet or claws may reference Odin’s shapeshifting abilities, spiritual flight, or communication with other realms. These amulets were likely suspended from leather cords (remains still visible and present) and used during rituals, with their gentle jingling and movement enhancing their visual and acoustic presence.
