Constantinople mint, ca. 1020-1030. + ЄMMA-NOVHΛ, nimbate bust of Christ facing, two pellets in each limb of the numbus' cross, wearing pallium and colobium and holding book of gospels, cover ornamented with dots around central pellet; IC - XC in fields; all within dotted border / + IhSЧS / XRISTЧS / bASILЄЧ / bASILЄ , legend in four lines within dotted border; dot ornament in exergue. - Justin II and Sophia AD 565-578. Dated RY 10=AD 574/5. Theoupolis Half follis. 23mm 4.54g. D N IVSTI-NVS P P [...], Justin on left, Sophia on right, seated facing on double-throne, both nimbate, Justin holding cross on globe, Sophia holding sceptre / Large K, ANNO to left, cross above, X to right, mintmark P below.
