For sale is a very rare RSF Kobol Expander. Made in limited quantities in the late 1970’s. It’s not often you see one of these, if ever. Despite its age, it has been serviced and is fully functional. However, there are a few caveats, one original knob is not installed. I do have it and will of course include it, but unfortunately I can not reinstall it because I am missing the inner ring part of the knob for it to fit. Sometimes the tuning isn’t so stable. It is an analog synth, modeled after a minimoog after all. This tuning instability is well within acceptable levels and merely a feature of its design. I have included images of the inside so you can get a sense of what’s going on. some of the original chips and parts have been replaced over the years. but all of these alterations were done professionally, and were necessary to maintain the functionality of the device.
