Umberto Boccioni (1882–1916) - after - Γλυπτό, Unique Forms of Continuity in Space - 88 cm - Μπρούντζος
A very beautiful and very large cubist style bronze sculpture depicting a futuristic walker.
This work is entitled 'Unique Forms of Continuity in Space' and is made after the famous work of Italian sculptor Umberto Boccioni (1882–1916). The original is exhibited in the Kröller-Müller museum in the Netherlands and also at the The Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York).
It captures the dynamic movement of a human figure striding forward. With flowing, aerodynamic forms and powerful lines, it embodies the Futurist fascination with speed, motion, and modernity. The figure seems to merge with the surrounding air, blurring the boundary between body and space.
This version is made of a great quality bronze and is finished with a warm brown patina.
Dimensions: 88 x 31 x 67 cm
Weight: 25.2 kg
Signed: yes.

A magnificent and eye-catching piece of art!
